Actually, I started dancing as exercise. But as I started practicing, my interest in it increased. I won several challenges in my hometown, Ludhiana and in Chandigarh. I told my parents that I want to go to Mumbai. My parents permitted me to come to Mumbai in 2017. I joined VCompany and I learnt a lot from here.

How would you describe your dancing style?

I am a versatile dancer. I can adhere to any style that the song requires. If you ask me my favorite, it’s lyrical and popping.

What problems did you face in your career?

I did have problems initially. My grandfather would say that dance is not a career. We had a  lot of fights in the house because of that.  In 2013, my parents separated. I shifted with mom from Ludhiana to Indore.  So, I had to start from scratch. I had friends and a following in Ludhiana, which I had to create all over again in Indore. We didn’t have enough money for me to join a dance class.
