Played by Shefali Shah, the character of Vartika is like that of a hard-shelled coconut. Being a DCP she knows how important it is to keep the law and order in her hands. At the same time, there is immense pressure from superiors and backlash from subordinates. To top it all of she has a daughter who has stopped believing in the system. Vartika fights it all and ensures that the criminals cannot scatter away.
The character of Neeti perfectly portrayed by Rasika Duggal. She is handling a case like this for the first time. She got orders to handle the parents and maintain decorum in the hospital. Neeti is young and passionate about her work but when she talks to the victim and the parents she is beyond her age in those times. The way she talks to Deepika shows how difficult things are for her. Yet she is alert and ready at all times.
There are superiors and there are trainees, in between falls Vimla Bharadwaj, played by Jaya Bhattacharya. Vimla knows the tricks and trade of her work, she is dedicated, fierce and rarely ever expresses any difficulty faced by her. There is a particular time when she hasn’t slept for more than 2-3 hours for days and through it all. She handles her work cause she understands the severity of the case.
A much younger part of the crew, Yashaswini Dayama plays the role of Chandni. She essayed the role of the daughter of two esteemed Police Officers. The Officers aren’t the only ones to face backlash, the family suffers too which can be seen. Chandni often questioned by her friends. At one point in time she herself feels that not much being done by her mother. Although when someone badmouths her mother she doesn’t shy away from picking a fight. She eventually feels proud of her mother when the culprits get caught.
