It’s summer, but it’s not going to be summer the whole year. The temperatures will come down, the rain will fall and we will be back to normal.   Bollywood has a special relationship with rain. Many dance directors have used rain for sensuousness. That list is something that will happen soon,  but this list is something else. It’s about the rain songs in Bollywood that spell romance, youth, and fun. Yes, we have five of the most exciting rain songs.  This is a must-view list for Shraddha Kapoor fans, as we have a couple of songs featuring her.

Top Five Rain Songs from Bollywood

  • Tum Hi Ho (Aashiqui 2)

No rain song in Bollywood can beat Tum Hi Ho from Aashiqui 2. The song propelled the two actors, Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha to stardom, and created a fanbase for the movie. It was a heady concoction of refusal to back down in love and the pangs of romance.

  • Yeh Baarish Ka Paani (Half Girlfriend)

Yeh Baarish Ka Paani deftly marries romance and a youthful exuberance that only Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor can bring to a movie. The song doesn’t have a lot of dance moves, but it is one of the most common songs that you will hear on a music lover’s playlist.

  • Kabhi to Baarish Barse (Jackpot)

And then we have the Ayatollah of Melodies, Arijit Singh, rendering this song for Sachiin Joshi in Jackpot. Though the movie didn’t do well, the song that had Sunny Leone and Sachiin Joshi have surely raised temperatures on some playlist or the other.

  • Mohabbat Barsa Dena Tu (Creature 3D)

Mohabbat Barsa Dena Tu is a lilting melody that comes from a horror movie – from the Bhatt camp, no less. The song has a frothy, heady feel to it – making it a popular addition to playlists that will barge out of the bin during the monsoon season.

  • Cham Cham (Baaghi)

Shraddha Kapoor wasn’t very popular with the dance fraternity, which quickly changed after she performed in a couple of dance-themed movies, including ABCD 2 and Street Dancer. But before she danced into our hearts with these movies, she had a rain song with none other than Tiger Shroff in one of their earlier releases, Baaghi.
