Ajay Devgn is one of the most popular actors in Bollywood. He is a second generation Bollywood personality, son of the fight master Veeru Devgn. Ajay made his debut in the ninetie with Phool Aur Kaante opposite Madhoo. Since then, Ajay has evolved and reinvented himself several times.  Today, he’s played almost every role a scriptwriter can come up with – and still has decades of acting and action to go.

Here’s a list of the top Ajay Devgn movies

Golmaal

The Golmaal franchise is a revered one, and that’s because it is a rare one that has struck gold more than once. This is the movie that brought Ajay and Rohit Shetty’s friendship to the fore, and created another stable of production. Devgn is the mainstay, and he has shared screenspace with Arshad Warshi, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Kemmu, Kareena Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborthy and a host of other actors in this franchise.

Yuva

Ajay Devgn and Mani Ratnam shocked everyone by deciding to work with each other in Yuva, one of the finest Bollywood movies about politics and everything that goes with it. The movie also star Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Vivek Oberoi, Esha Deol and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Singham

Singham is Ajay Devgn’s franchise. It is a simple cops and robbers story with all the masala intact. We have one sequel until now and one spinoff. The next Rohit Shetty movie, Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar will also feature the Singham character as well as Ranveer Singh’s Siimba.

While the first movie was a pretty simple story about a rich man running a corrupt fiefdom, the second movie went into the political thriller zone and has one of the best shootout scenes in Bollywood.
