Check out the details of the 5 women-centric movies that are going to knock at the box office soon!

Saina – Shraddha Kapoor

Bhaskar Kumar of T-Series is going to make a biopic of the successful Indian badminton player, Saina Nehwal. The popular actress Shraddha Kapoor will be playing the role of Saina Nehwal in this movie. For this film, Shraddha is even taking training under former badminton player Pullela Gopichand.

Chhapaak – Deepika Padukone

‘Chhapaak’ is a biographical film starring Deepika Padukone and directed by Meghna Gulzar. This movie is based on the life of the acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. It will be produced by Leena Yadav in collaboration with Fox Star Studios.

The Sky is Pink – Priyanka Chopra

After 3 years, Priyanka Chopra is going to make a comeback in Bollywood with ‘The Sky is Pink’ movie. This film is based on the life of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary, who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis and died at the age of 18. ‘The Sky is Pink’ also features Zaira Wasim and Farhan Akhtar.

Saand Ki Aankh – Tapsee Pannu

Saand Ki Aankh is a biopic based on the lives of Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar, the two octogenarian women, and sharpshooters. The roles of these two women will be played by Tapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar. This movie is directed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Anurag Kashyap and Nidhi Parmar.

Kargil Girl – Janhvi Kapoor

After her debut movie ‘Dhadak’, Janhvi Kapoor is going to hit screens with the movie ‘Kargil Girl’. This film is based on the life of Gunjan Saxena, the first ever woman combat pilot of Indian Air force. Gunjan Saxena gave a good contribution to the Kargil War.
