Former Indian cricketer MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Singh revealed her top three cherished moments with her husband Dhoni in their decade-long married life. Sakshi tied the knot with Dhoni on July 4, 2010. Dhoni picked the glory of World Cup in 2011, he received the honorary rank of a lieutenant colonel in 2011 and the 38-year-old sports athlete conferred with the Padma Bhushan in 2018.
While Sakshi speaking to Rupha Ramani on the Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) handle in an Instagram live session revealed her top 3 cherished moments with MS Dhoni.
The three most happy moments of Sakshi Dhoni with MS Dhoni are as follows-
- When MS Dhoni honoured with Padma Bhushan,
- When he got his honorary rank as a lieutenant colonel
- The third one is when India won the World Cup 2011 triumph.
Talking about her marriage Sakshi said that it was very good and I had seen the world through Mahi. Because when I graduated from college and within a month I got married to Dhoni. Whatever I learned till now, learned with him and through him only. Dhoni not been part of international cricket since India lost the semifinal in July last year for World Cup 2019. Post the heartbreaking Dhoni’s exit, India played several ODI and T20I series. But Dhoni was made available for none though the management looked desperately for a wicketkeeper-batsman amid the Rishabh Pant’s struggling form.
However, Dhoni gear up for the 13th season of the IPL and reached Chennai earlier in March to practice matches. He even looked in sublime form and claimed by his teammates. But owing to the coronavirus concerns, IPL 2020 postponed and the CSK camp dismembered.
Dhoni is the only captain to won all the three ICC trophies Champions Trophy, T20 World Cup, and 50-over World Cup besides scoring 10000 international runs across formats.
For the first time, India attained the No.1 spot in Test rankings under Dhoni captaincy. Dhoni also guided CSK with the team having the record of not missing playoff spots in each season of three IPL titles.
